Senior Change Manager PMO

About the job and your team

 

You as a Senior Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects meet their defined objectives by increasing user adoption of the change (changed service/platform/way of working/process/ etc.) brought along by the projects. You will drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees and contractors in the given organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.
 

You will work on

 

⦁    Apply the change management strategy set by the leader of Organizational Change Management (OCM)
⦁    Develop high-level change management strategies and frameworks to be applied across the organization
⦁    Facilitate communication between project teams, impacted employees and contractors

⦁    Support project delivery by integrating change management activities into their project plans and increasing user adoption

⦁    Sets up plans and actions to mitigate resistance towards the changes brought along by projects

⦁    Act as a coach for senior leaders and directors in helping them fulfil the role of change sponsor
⦁    Develop and deliver change management training sessions, workshops to build required skills and knowledge within the organization
⦁    Provide mentorship to other change management professionals within the change management team

 

Specific Responsibilities:


⦁    Apply and continuously improve Hydro OCM structured methodology (framework) and lead change management activities
⦁    Complete change management plan (identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics)
⦁    Support resistance management
⦁    Create actionable OCM deliverables and integrate them into project plan
⦁    Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
⦁    Coordinate efforts with other specialists, including Project Managers, Department Managers, Team Leads, Service Transition Manager/Coordinator, Communication Specialist and technical personnel
⦁    Evaluate and ensure user readiness
⦁    Contribute to the effective measurement of success metrics and monitor change progress
⦁    Support awareness of OCM practices and success stories within Hydro 
 

Your qualifications and skills

 

⦁    Minimum 5 years of experience in multinational, preferably in shared services or in PMO (Project Management Office) organisation
⦁    Master/Bachelor/Vocational Degree
⦁    Fluent in English is mandatory. Any other language is a plus
⦁    Experience and knowledge of change management methodologies, strongly preferred certificate (preferably PROSCI) 
⦁    Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
⦁    Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts, such as digital transformations, cultural shifts, or organizational restructures
⦁    Resilient and problem solving with a positive mindset, focuses on opportunities rather than obstacles
⦁    Cultural sensitivity – should be able to navigate and understand diverse cultural nuances that may influence the change adoption process
