Technical Specialist, M365, GBS

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
 

Role purpose:

Technical management of the M365 platform in Hydro (NHY).

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support in a global enterprise environment for Office 365 end-to-end services
• Handle requests, incidents, changes, and problem processes for the platform (3rd level support)
• Automate tasks and solutions in Office 365 by using eg. Powershell, contribute to the efforts managing the infrastructure from code
• Collaborate closely with Microsoft and other suppliers; ensure good dialogue and exchange knowledge about business needs and product development
• Understand changes in the Microsoft platforms and manage these changes in Hydro 
• Manage integration between M365 and other infrastructure applications and IT services in Hydro applying an automation focused approach
• Proactively evaluate, test and verify new cloud tools and features based on business relevance. Handle testing regime of customizations, updates and integrations 
• Document and maintain solution architecture 
• Ensure that solution architecture and security for Office 365 comply with Hydro IS governance and enterprise architecture
• Maintain and contribute to Office 365 knowledge articles in ServiceNow

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft cloud technologies and Office 365
• Minimum BA degree (Information Technologies)
• Microsoft Office 365 certificates
• Strong skills in Powershell or other scripting languages and commitment to grow in this area
• In-depth knowledge of all applications in the Office 365 platform is required. Knowledge & experience of ServiceNow is also preferred
• Fluent English language knowledge
• Experience in Office 365-related projects (eg. migration project)
