Shifts Available and Hours:
Nights Monday - Thursday
7pm to 7am
Shift Premium: Nightshift - $1.00/hour extra
Job Summary:
The Multilingual Trainer will play a critical role in transitioning the Yankton facility to a multilingual structure, enhancing communication, processes, and training efficiency. This role involves translating Spanish and English for communications, trainings, employee forums, problem-solving initiatives, human resources activities, and other key functions to support a diverse and inclusive workforce.
The Multilingual Trainer will also effectively support onboarding for new employees and grade advancements, ensuring proper training and maintaining organized records to support department managers and trainers. Additionally, this position will drive the translation and development of documents, processes, procedures, and systems essential to achieving a seamless multilingual environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Structure Yankton facility to adapt/close multilingual gaps.
- Translate (Spanish/English) communications with employees, as needed.
- Streamline translation (English/Spanish) of varying documents, processes, procedures, signage, and forms.
- Assists in training new employees.
- Assists in translation and communication of new process development initiatives to effectively disseminate changes.
- Participates in new hire training and supports onboarding processes.
- Supports Yankton plant by transitioning operational/HR process documentation, procedures, forms, and other critical systems into Spanish.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must be able to fluently speak/write English and Spanish.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous manufacturing experience in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply).
- Ability to perform basic computer application skills.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure.
- Ability to communicate (both written & verbal) and work well with all employees at all levels, willingness to learn new processes and work with limited supervision.
