Hydro Aluminium Metal a leading supplier of extrusion ingots, sheet ingots, foundry alloys, wire rods and high-purity aluminum with a global production network of around 5,000 employees. With primary metal production facilities in Europe, Canada, Australia, Brazil and Qatar, and recycling facilities throughout Europe and in the U.S., two-thirds of our primary aluminum production is based on renewable energy
About the job
- Contract to Cash Transactions: Execute and manage contract to cash transactions accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Proactively collaborate with all stakeholders to address key issues, driving solutions with relevant functions to ensure customer satisfaction and exceed team success measures.
- Export Shipping Documentation: Prepare and handle a full set of export shipping documents, including follow-up on payments and LC negotiation.
- LME hedges: Assist customers with the placement of hedges for LME prices in accordance with contract terms.
- Month-End Closing: Ensure a smooth month-end closing process for commercial operation activities.
- Process Improvement: Support process improvement projects aimed at simplifying and automating processes

Your qualifications and skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or University Degree, or a combination of education and equivalent experience in customer service operations.
- Experience: Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in trade operations within a multinational corporation (MNC) environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient knowledge of ERP systems, preferably in SAP, and strong skills in Microsoft Office.
- Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of Incoterms and UCP 600.
- Additional Skills: Knowledge on LME pricing methodology is advantageous
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing transactions and preparing documentation.
- Organization Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team and support colleagues.
- Growth Mindset: Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, essential for adapting to constantly improving business processes.
