We are looking for a Workshop Technician / Production Specialist

About the Role

As a Production Specialist, you will work in a team currently consisting of three people with the same role at our Training Center (TC), while also being part of the Technical Department. In the Technical Department, we support the Nordic region in technical matters, both internally and externally.

Together with the other colleagues at the TC, you will be responsible for the practical training of our customers, either at the TC or on-site at customer locations. The work includes travelling to customers to support them in their production processes and providing practical training at the TC when new products are launched.

When customers build a product for the first time, or if they encounter production issues, it is often necessary to visit the customer and provide support. You will also support customers via email and phone when they have practical issues. This means that travel is included in the role, including travel outside Sweden.

At trade fairs and during various types of testing, such as fire tests, the TC is responsible for building product samples, both large and small. During fire testing, the Production Specialist is also responsible for installing the section/system at RISE.

At the TC, there is a test rig where the Production Specialist can carry out water and air tightness tests. In the event of complaints, the Production Specialist may also travel to investigate the issue on-site.

It is also important in this role to be able to work with our TechDesign software and to create as well as modify machining macros in our CAM software for further transfer to CNC machines.

Qualifications

  • Practical and hands-on mindset
  • Service-oriented and social
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40–60 days per year
