Product Marketing Manager

In your role as Product Marketing Manager you will be responsible for supporting our Market area North countries (main focus on Germany, Austria, Switzerland) – as part of the Product Marketing Team:

  • Supporting the Sales organizations to achieve their goals by managing the product and service portfolio of HBS in your assigned geographical area.
  • Managing the product lifecycle for the WICONA brand. Make business cases (technical & pay-back) at start up for formal approval by management and Central Marketing team. Benchmark predesigns with the market requirements: intermediate between market and central organization. Coordinate the launch of the products and solutions/services. Internal launch and external launch. Training and presentations are an important part of your tasks. Support and manage pricing strategy. Monitor quarterly sales from a product lifecycle perspective and report to sales teams. Coordinate rationalization process of products.
  • Push and coordinate sustainability actions through the various departments as Sustainability Ambassador for your geographical area.
  • Competitors analysis: SWOT analysis; understand and communicate our USPs; translate this into Customer Value.
  • Regulation and legislation: Keep up to date to translate impact on product offer.
  • Networking: Joint effort with sales and specification teams to be connected in the market and react to trends in time.
  • Cooperate with sales, communication, technical, software and operations teams to align product launches, marketing campaigns. Align timeline and check technical content on documents (website, brochures)
  • Cooperate with central organization in working groups on specific topics on the platforming and innovation of products and services.

 

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who likes challenges and working in a fast-paced and dynamic organization. You have a solid technical profile with a high market-oriented understanding. In addition, you are a driven and structured person with logical and critical mindset, who acts agile with parallel projects and deadlines working with a wide range of departments in an international environment.

 

Key qualifications

  • Experience with equivalent technical-commercial tasks and areas of responsibility.
  • Relevant higher education with technical focus, preferably in construction.
  • Market experience in fenestration (windows, doors, facades, conservatories) or complementary products.
  • High levels of proficiency in German and English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
  • IT-skills: Microsoft Office and preferably CAD/BIM and PLM/PDM systems.

As you work area will include a large geographical area, some travel within the region to keep close contact to the market is required. In connection with, for example, participation in international working groups, travel outside the region will also have to be expected.
