Senior Design Engineer (test positioin)

Hydro Energy has more than 100 years of experience in production of renewable energy. Today, we are one of the three largest operators of hydropower production in Norway and a large power market player in the Nordic region and Brazil. We are responsible for developing new business opportunities for Hydro within both renewable energy, hydrogen and batteries, and we provide support to the rest of Hydro’s business areas on contracts, security of supply and energy framework conditions.

What you will be doing

  • Strategic HR Partnership: Partnering with leaders to identify HR priorities and developing people strategies that support business objectives.
  • Employee Relations: Guiding managers and employees on HR policies, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive workplace.
  • Talent Management: Collaborating with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Supporting performance reviews, goal-setting processes, and individual development plans.
  • Change Management: Leading or supporting HR-driven organizational changes, including restructuring, process improvements, and cultural initiatives.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Working on initiatives to build an inclusive and diverse work environment where everyone feels they belong.

What will make you successful?

  • Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., technology, finance].
  • A certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in managing or supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and organizational development practices.
