Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as a PLC Co-Op. This position is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field who is eager to gain real-world experience in an industrial environment. As a Co-Op, you will work closely with our team to support the development, troubleshooting, and optimization of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in programming, testing, and debugging PLCs to support production equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of automation processes.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of system changes and updates.
  • Support preventive maintenance tasks related to PLCs and associated equipment.
  • Gain hands-on experience with industrial control systems, sensors, and actuators.
  • Follow safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or other platforms).
