Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as a PLC Co-Op. This position is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field who is eager to gain real-world experience in an industrial environment. As a Co-Op, you will work closely with our team to support the development, troubleshooting, and optimization of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in programming, testing, and debugging PLCs to support production equipment and systems.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems.
Participate in the development and improvement of automation processes.
Document and maintain accurate records of system changes and updates.
Support preventive maintenance tasks related to PLCs and associated equipment.
Gain hands-on experience with industrial control systems, sensors, and actuators.
Follow safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Basic understanding of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or other platforms).
