What you will be doing
Support safe and efficient material distribution and relocation activities using mobile equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes to meet production, safety, and quality objectives.
Operate material handling equipment in accordance with all safety policies and procedures, completing required inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
Conduct visual inspections of materials to verify product quality, correct packaging, and accurate identification.
Empty scrap and chip hoppers as required to maintain housekeeping standards and support continuous operations.
Perform routine, minor maintenance checks on forklifts, including brakes, horn, fluid levels, and general condition.
Accurately complete and submit daily lift truck inspection reports.
What will make you successful?
Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months of previous forklift operating experience.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
