Starting Rate of pay: $17.75/HR

Shifts Available and Hours:

Monday through Friday

5:45 AM to 2:15 PM, with an automatic 30-minute lunch deduction

What you will be doing

  • Clean breakrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, guard shack, and other areas as directed.
  • Perform painting and related 5S tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with small package deliveries and production supply/PPE inventory when other tasks are complete.
  • Operate mobile equipment, including the floor sweeper, and hand tools in accordance with training and company safety procedures.
  • Dump trash hoppers safely and in accordance with established procedures.
  • This position is designed as a dedicated support role with responsibilities specific to this function. The position is not part of the production career path and is intended to remain within its designated scope and duties.

What will make you successful?

 

  • Minimum one-year experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Must maintain the medical fitness and qualifications required by Hydro for mobile equipment operators.
  • Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

 

Preferred Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Must be able to use hand-held tools, mobile equipment, and cleaning supplies safely.
  • Previous mobile equipment operating experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to read/print numbers and letters legibly and perform basic math calculations.
  • Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
