What you will be doing

  • Prioritize safety as the top condition of employment by following and enforcing all plant‑wide safety procedures, environmental regulations, and guidelines.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Assist with planning, preparing, and setting up products for packing.
  • Complete the daily Lift Truck Operator’s Inspection Report.
  • Perform daily visual inspections of cranes, straps, and related lifting equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area both inside and outside the plant.
  • Properly dispose of wood, trash, and cardboard in designated locations.
  • Operate computerized weigh scales.
  • Operate handheld scanners as required.
  • Work effectively with limited supervision.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Utilize all required safety equipment, adhere to break schedules, and keep work areas tidy.
  • Demonstrate cooperative teamwork and the ability to work independently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all requirements of the Quality Management System and the Environmental Management System.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and sometimes high‑pressure environment.
  • Ability to comply with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
  • Must successfully pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol screening.
