What you will be doing

  • Monitor, review, reconcile, and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods, and packaging materials to support manufacturing operations and customer demand.
  • Analyze inventory levels, usage trends, and material requirements to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing shortages, excess inventory, and production disruptions.
  • Shipping, and other departments to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules, customer requirements, and inventory objectives.
  • Track inventory transactions throughout the ERP system to ensure inventory accuracy and timely processing of receipts, transfers, issues, adjustments, and shipments.
  • Investigate, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies by analyzing transaction history, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Perform scheduled cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliations to maintain inventory integrity and compliance with established inventory control procedures.
  • Prepare and complete monthly inventory closing activities, including inventory reconciliations, variance analysis, inventory valuation support, and required reports.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and inventory metrics to identify trends, improve inventory accuracy, and support operational decision-making.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving inventory control processes, material flow, warehouse organization, and overall inventory management efficiency.
  • Participate in meetings and cross-functional projects to communicate inventory concerns, recommend process improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with departmental operations as required to maintain workflow, support production requirements, and respond to urgent operational needs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with established inventory control procedures while maintaining compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE), quality, and productivity standards.
