About the job
We are seeking a highly analytical Procurement Data & Business Analyst to join the Hydro Extrusions Procurement team, a strategic organization that oversees spend within several important indirect categories across sites all over the world.
In close collaboration with Category Managers, you will play a critical role ensuring that procurement decisions are based on accurate data and insightful analysis. In this position, you will have to structure and analyze complex datasets to provide actionable recommendations that will support sourcing decisions, cost optimizations and supplier performance.
This role operates across EU and NA regions, in a fast-paced and imperfect data environment. It requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to bring structure to complexity with a pragmatic, solution-oriented and results-driven mindset.
What you will be doing
In close partnership with Category Managers, you will play a key role in driving procurement excellence through data.
Data analysis:
- Collect, clean, structure and analyze procurement data from multiple sources (multiple ERP systems, supplier reports, sites databases).
- Develop and maintain Excel-based tools (databases, bid sheets, assessments files) to run wide tenders and support decision-making.
- Analyze supplier performance, pricing, cost structure and spend to provide actionable insights and identify savings opportunities.
- Contribute to supplier negotiations and strategic decisions with clear and structures analysis.
- Create and maintain dashboards to track savings and categories procurement strategies implementation.
Stakeholder management:
- Support execution of complex tenders involving cross-functional teams and stakeholders in different locations.
- Provide solutions and recommendations even when data is incomplete or imperfect, ensuring projects move forward with pragmatic and data-driven recommendations.
- Uphold high personal standards and expectations for quality and impact.
What will make you successful?
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Engineering or similar analytical fields.
- Experience in Procurement, Project Management or related Business-oriented role is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, data modeling, complex formulas and VBA Macros).
- Ability to work in project-based environment, interpret large datasets, and turn complexity into clear insights and pragmatic recommendations, while ensuring continued projects execution.
- Excellent communication skills to present insights clearly to different stakeholders across multiple locations (proficiency in both Excel and PowerPoint).
- Comfortable working with imperfect data and making sound decisions under uncertainty while maintaining accuracy and delivering results.
- Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
