Role Purpose / Proposito del puesto
The role is responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle and supplier relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of aluminium scrap across multiple sites. It oversees daily scrap and metal planning, import logistics, and quality compliance to support efficient remelt operations and uphold plant standards. Through performance analysis and cross-functional collaboration, the role drives continuous improvement in material yield, inventory control, and strategic reporting.

Este puesto es responsable de gestionar todo el ciclo de compras y las relaciones con los proveedores, garantizando un abastecimiento de chatarra de aluminio puntual y rentable en varias plantas. Supervisa la planificación diaria de chatarra y metal, la logística de importación y el cumplimiento de calidad, con el fin de apoyar operaciones de refundición eficientes y mantener los estándares de la planta. A través del análisis de desempeño y de la colaboración interfuncional, el puesto impulsa la mejora continua del rendimiento del material, del control de inventario y del reporting estratégico.
Minimun requirements /Requisitos minimos
• 3–5 years in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally in the field of manufacturing, metals, or industrial supply chain environments • Experience managing supplier contracts, audits, and performance metrics • Experience with customs, port operations, and international shipping documentation
• Minimum Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field • Optional Master’s degree, in a related field • Fluent in English is mandatory. Any other language is a plus
