From manufacturing and skilled trades to engineering and administrative functions, you will help Hydro attract and hire the talent needed to sustain our operations and support future growth throughout North America.
This position will be based in either the US or Canada and requires professional proficiency in both English and French to support candidates, employees, and hiring managers in a bilingual environment. This role offers the opportunity to influence hiring outcomes, improve recruitment processes, and help shape the candidate experience across the organization. What You Will Do
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from requisition intake through offer acceptance
- Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract and engage qualified candidates
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Screen and assess candidates using structured, job-related selection criteria
- Coordinate interviews and deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Provide hiring managers with market insights, candidate recommendations, and recruitment progress updates
- Support offer development, approvals, negotiations, and candidate communications
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking system data
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes
What Will Make You Successful

Professional proficiency in both French and English is required
- Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle and working directly with hiring managers
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders
- Experience sourcing and attracting talent through multiple channels
- Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to leverage recruitment data and analytics to drive results and inform decision-making
- Professional proficiency in English and French, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively support candidates and leaders in a bilingual environment
- Recruitment experience in manufacturing, industrial, skilled trades, engineering, technical, or administrative environments is considered an asset
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter, or other candidate sourcing tools is considered an asset
- Human Resources or Recruitment certification is considered an asset
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is considered an asset
Additional Information
- On-site presence is required to support plant recruitment activities and collaboration with hiring managers
- Occasional travel may be required for recruiting events, site visits, and business meetings
