Job Summary: The Advanced Fabrication Manager, as a key member of the Plant Management Team, plays a critical role in setting departmental objectives and long-term goals aligned with organizational strategy. This role ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and leads supervisors and team members in a flow-based production environment. The manager is responsible for driving safety, quality, and cost efficiency through effective leadership and problem-solving to reduce waste and support continuous improvement.

Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of CNC Programming, Machining, and/or Tooling experience.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience in aluminum preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Tooling, and/or Fabrication or similar field preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Knowledge of fabrication, machining, tooling, tolerancing, machine setup, automation, and pricing models.
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
- Project management experience.
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Proven ability in conflict resolution and employee relations.
- Effective team and people management.
- Ability to create solutions and communicate solutions to influence others.
- Travel less than 15%.
What you will be doing
- Lead fabrication operations with full accountability for safety, quality, cost, productivity, and P&L performance across a team and work areas (with primary focus on CNC).
- Oversee the manufacturing of aluminum extrusions, including cutting, punching, bending, and CNC machining.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 automotive quality standards.
- Manage outsourcing strategies for work beyond internal capabilities, aligning with customer needs.
- Support new business quoting by developing competitive, cost-effective pricing models.
- Demonstrate strong leadership in employee engagement, retention, and coaching.
- Achieve safety performance benchmarks within a heavy industrial environment.
- Maintain customer-facing responsibilities related to supply, quality, and new product development (NPD).
- Utilize ERP systems and ensure equipment reliability.
