Hycast is a technology company, developing and providing game-changing casthouse technology to the global aluminum industry.
These Summer Interns will be shared between two departments at Hycast; Technology and Aftersales.
The Technology department has 8, and the Aftersales department has 12 highly competent employees.
Hycast was established in 1990 by forward-thinking engineers and researchers to develop leading technology and equipment for aluminum foundries. Today, we have more than 70 highly qualified employees and deliver solutions to customers around the world.
Modern, fully automated casting lines. Our technology enables the production of high-quality aluminum through safe, efficient, and automated casting processes. For our customers, this results in increased value creation and stronger competitiveness.
At the forefront of aluminum casting innovation. With its roots in research and development, innovation has always been at the core of Hycast. Since 1990, we have continuously advanced casting technology through testing, validation, and close collaboration with research institutions and industry partners.
What we offer you
An internship in Hydro is a great way for you to try out and learn more about your field of study. You will obtain valuable experience, and you get to tackle relevant tasks and real challenges, with support from experienced colleagues. You will also get to participate in a join program with all the Hydro summer interns, allowing you to learn more about our business acquire interdisciplinary knowledge. All the while, we expect and want you to have a fun experience during the summer.

What will make you successful?
Master’s degree in Materials Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Cybernetics or another related field.
Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
Extracurricular activities and volunteer work will be considered advantageous.
